FAQ

  • I live and work in the San Francisco Bay area, but I travel across the state and country for keynote speeches, workshops, and presentations.

  • I work with organizations that employ multi-generational teams, such as law firms, engineering and tech companies, professional services firms, nonprofits, and everything in between. My programs are designed for HR leaders, managers, and executives who want to better understand and support their Gen Z employees while strengthening collaboration across all generations.

Every workplace has its own culture, pressures, and language. I meet your people where they are, whether that’s a hybrid start-up still finding its rhythm or a legacy company redefining how it connects with a new generation of talent.

  • In short: retention, engagement, and communication.

I help companies stop the endless cycle of hiring bright, talented Gen Z employees who leave within a year because they feel disconnected, unsupported, or misunderstood. We dig into what’s really driving disengagement - things like burnout, unclear expectations, lack of feedback, or mental-health stigma - and build systems that keep employees motivated, loyal, and thriving.

The result? Managers who lead with empathy, employees who feel seen and valued, and a culture that can adapt to change without losing its people.

  • I’ve worked with young people for over a decade, first watching Millennials enter the job market and now guiding Gen Z as they navigate a very different world of work.

As both a licensed psychotherapist and board-certified coach, I’ve spent years listening and guiding young adults toward figuring out who they are and what they want. During the pandemic, I was their therapist and coach while they were graduating during lockdowns, starting their first professional jobs from their childhood bedrooms, and trying to make sense of a world that felt completely uncertain.

That experience gave me a front-row seat to understanding what motivates them, what shuts them down, and why they either love their jobs or hate them. CNBC once called me the “Millennial Therapist,” but today my focus is helping organizations translate this deep generational insight into real-world leadership and engagement strategies.

  • All my workshops can be delivered in-person or virtually and customized for your company’s goals, size, and industry. Popular sessions include:

    • Gen Z at Work: Closing the Expectation Gap

    • Communicating with Gen Z: Bridging generational gaps for stronger teams

    • The Real Reason You’re Burned Out: Understanding stress, boundaries, and modern work

    • Unstuck: How to Move Forward When You Don’t Have All the Answers: Helping young professionals build clarity and confidence

  • Absolutely! In fact, they always are. No two organizations are the same, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. I tailor every workshop with examples, stories, and strategies that speak directly to your team’s day-to-day challenges and culture.

Whether you’re managing billable-hour pressures, hybrid-team burnout, or communication breakdowns across generations, we’ll make sure the content feels relevant and actionable.

  • Workshops and keynotes are typically 60 minutes, and most programs run 1–2 hours at a time over a 4–6 week period.

I’ve found this approach far more effective than trying to cram everything into an eight-hour day. Real growth comes from consistent learning, reflection, and application, not from information overload. Shorter, focused sessions give participants time to absorb, practice, and return with new insights and questions that deepen their learning.

I structure my programs this way because I want everyone to truly engage with and retain the material. When people have space to reflect between sessions, they begin to integrate what they’ve learned into their daily lives and work. By the time we meet again, participants are bringing real-world experiences, challenges, and observations back into the discussion, which makes the learning deeper, more personal, and far more effective over time.

  • Most generational workshops focus on the surface, with charts, statistics, and stereotypes about who likes structure, who needs praise, or who’s “too sensitive.” We’ll go much deeper.

I bring real-world experience, not just research or theory. I’ve spent thousands of hours sitting across from young people listening to their hopes, dreams, fears, and frustrations,  what excites them about work, what shuts them down, and what makes them want to leave. My understanding of Gen Z and Millennials isn’t something I read in a book; it comes from lived, human experience.

My background as a licensed psychotherapist and board-certified coach gives me a unique perspective that most management consultants don’t have. The generational divide we’re seeing in workplaces today isn’t a management issue that can be solved with a few charts and slide decks, it’s a mental health and communication issue. It requires understanding psychology, motivation, and what truly drives people.

I help organizations bridge that gap with empathy, science, and practical tools that managers can actually use. It’s not about changing who people are, it’s about helping everyone understand one another so they can work better together.

  • Because you’ll feel the shift right away, in understanding, in communication, and in energy. Participants leave my sessions saying, “I finally get them.” That moment of clarity changes everything.

Long term, organizations see measurable improvements in engagement, retention, and team satisfaction. I also provide post-session resources and optional follow-up coaching to help reinforce what was learned and track progress.

  • Yes. Many of my clients bring me back for follow-up sessions, small-group coaching, or leadership consulting to sustain momentum and build confidence in applying new skills.

I also partner with HR teams to design ongoing professional-development programs that address mental health, communication, and generational leadership across the organization.
